..we’ve been living up against the crowd..

lyrics from the song track ‘Dark Horses‘ by SWITCHFOOT from their latest (yet to be released) album ‘Vice Verses‘.

If you have yet to listen to the song Dark Horses, you should really go listen to it NOW. Like, seriously. Click here to listen. :)

Dark Horses is one of the many other tracks in SWITCHFOOT‘s(click on link to check out their listening session for Vice Verses- awesome stuff) upcoming album VICE VERSES. Its such an amazing song & for some reason, it really reminds me of the Bersih 2.0 rally that happened a couple weeks back; when everybody stood up against the majority for a better future. A better Malaysia.

“you can’t count us out, we’ve been living up against the crowd, we are the dark horses”

“its not over now, we’ve been down but we’ve never been out, we are the dark horses”

Ok, so I know its too early for a Christmas wishlist but ANYWAY.. Someone get me the Vice Verses album by switchfoot once its out please. Thanks.

Sincerely, DESPERATE.

that little something called hope

Why am I discouraged?
Why is my heart so sad?
I will put my hope in God!
I will praise him again—
my Savior and my God!

Psalms 43:5

July 9th 2011

Only when elections are clean and fair, can citizens be real masters of their own destiny and expect holders of public office to act accountably and effectively.

Bersih 2.0. Where history was made.

Where people from different colors, backgrounds & religions came together as 1MALAYSIA to rally for what they believed in & what they knew was right- A clean & fair election & a clean UN-CORRUPTED government.

Truly the most exciting, inspiring, breath taking, heart clenching event ever. Wasn’t able to be apart of it physically, but followed tweets & websites that made me feel like I really was rallying alongside them. It was truly remarkable. Haven’t seen this many Malaysians ALL OVER THE WORLD come together as ONE before. Truly 1Malaysia at its BEST.

& despite what negative things newspapers & certain politicians have said regarding the Bersih 2.0 rally, I (along with many other Malaysians) still hold on to what we believe in. This rally not only raised awareness, but it opened the eyes of so many once ignorant people(such as me, sad to say) to the nature of our country. I’ve definitely been totally inspired & changed by this entire rally. The only regret I have was not being able to be apart of it physically. ):

Anyways.. TWO THUMBS UP to all my fellow Malaysians who had bravely taken part in this rally & GOT ARRESTED(or hurt) FOR IT. Hats off to you guys! Heard the officers at the  station fed you well though. Haha.

‘Nyways.. check this video out, seriously awesome stuff.

How can people still dare say police officers acted professionally OR un-brutally? PLEASE.

Anyway, a HUMONGOUS thank You to my Heavenly Father for keeping all my fellow friends safe during this entire rally. Yes, some of my friends were arrested, but they had good food! Heh. So yeah, THANKS SO MUCH.
